Adding the page to frontapge

Jwalling, thank you for making such a comprehensive page. Can I add it to the front page directory? Thank you. --CBasturea 02:02, 8 Sep 2005 (EDT)

John, the Animal Rescue Resources page is now linke from the Main Page. Can you please make sure that all the resources about animal rescue from Aid Agencies are already in the Animal Rescue Resources, so we can delete them from that page? Thank you so much. --CBasturea 19:14, 9 Sep 2005 (EDT)
Thanks!

Katrina Pet Data Finder DB Project - contributors' page

I'd suggest starting up a new page for it :) It will help those looking for information or trying to followup get in touch with those folks speficially listed - thee will be a track of whats going on and who's doing what instead of randomly contacting contributors on the general list. Kudos -- Angelo Embuldeniya 22.26 GMT, Oct 05, 2005

New page it is! --Jwalling 18:39, 4 Oct 2005 (EDT)

Hi Jwalling. I am interested in your wgSpamRegexList.php. Is that a custom module that allows MW to read your regex list? Normally MW only handles a single line spam regex. I am trying to learn about all of MW's antispam features so we can help inform people. You might also be interested in the what I have been working on against CSS Hidden Spam (http://wiki.chongqed.org//CSSHiddenSpam) on MediaWiki. Your user page had a rule (height:\s*\dpx) that solves much of the current problem, but there are plenty of other ways to hide spam. I am working to build a good wgSpamRegex to block all of them and if you are good at regex I could use some help and testing (see toward the bottom of that page). Thanks. -- JoeChongq 22:38, 10 Jan 2006 (CET)

Question about metawikipedia:Spam Filter

Hi, about the Spam Filter proposal, are you the project coordinator? It is for Wikizine.org That I can direct questions and people who are willing to help to you. Greetings, Walter 21:35, 22 Jan 2006 (CET)

Yes. I am trying to pull together ideas that are floating around on various wikis and forums to upgrade WikiMedia spam defenses. There could be collaboration with other WikiEngines with standard format spam filters. --jwalling 22:01, 22 Jan 2006 (CET)
OK - thanks. You can find the item about Spam Filter on metawikipedia:Wikizine/2006-04, section "Request for help". If like to modify it your free to do so. You will see on the template of that edition is closed or not .Walter 22:54, 22 Jan 2006 (CET)

Update

Hello, interesting list. I'm honoured you think my tool was worth linking to - thought I'd let you know that the chongq tool you link to is out of date having a few short comings. I did however address these with a new version [1] (http://lordmatt.co.uk/tools/superchongq.php) which while it is a little rough it does convert the spam to chongq formatted URL links much better. --Lord Matt 16:09, 1 Sep 2006 (CEST)
