SKELETON USER MODEL for people finder

The user model below is just a draft to brainstorm The users and their roles are currently being defined and studied. Legal constraints re. personal data are not going to be considered at this stage, but will have to be dealt with before the project goes live

User 1 = displaced individual (wants to create an entry to be located) (name+surname+dob, sheltername+location) REQUIREMENT: Needs a user interface that is web based, easy to use Needs to know where data is being stored Needs clear terms of use (I would not want my data to be used/usable for any other purpose than search and location so need to develop policy here I am afraid) Needs to be able to post request for help (I need this medicine)

User2 = people searching displaced individuals (want to locate the entry above) search by name+surname (display all matches with location) REQUIREMENT: Needs to be able to retrieve data and post a message to be delivered to the person corresponding to that entry (I am glad to hear that you are fine, we are coming to meet you) or (red cross receives request for medicine, is delivering)

User 3 = shelter wants to have an online dbase to keep a list of the people who are there, and some basic stats re. each individual (needs medical, needs conselling, needs rehousing) etcetera REQUIREMENT: Needs to make sure that the data is safe and protected and that only used to locate people. entries must become invisible after OK status is reached)

User 4 = relief organisation needs to retrieve all 'needs' data so that it can be priorities/acted upon, and needs to be able to add additional status fields (3 fields: status, acted upon, pending, forwarded and contact for status, double check status)--Paola2 09:50, 7 Sep 2005 (EDT)

USER 5 - Dbase manager of authorised organisation needs to be able to access and model data as required
