Ready for Claiming

Assignments with most of the chunks unclaimed. When all chunks are completed or claimed, please move to "Near Complete".

SunHerald About 750 chunks. Some chunks have single large entries.

9/21/2005 note for the people who've been rechecking and updating the SunHerald's entries:

Thanks for the help. At the moment, though, there are many chunks on the YahooKatrina site (see link below) which still need to be claimed. Please, let's input those, THEN come back to work on the SunHerald's parts. Thanks!

Note on 9/18/2005

SunHerald's list needs people to check on two things:

1) Posts that were claimed a while ago but never marked completed. If those were not completed (do a random check to see if they are entered in the katrinalist.net database), please finish them.

2) Go back through the first 20 or so pages to see if any have threads which are long and active. Some of the threads have had entries added after the first Katrinalist.net volunteer went through. You can identify these threads/entries by noting the date the volunteer marked the page "completed," then going through the threads to see if any entries are dated after the "completed" date.

Perhaps after someone has gone back to recheck these pages and determined that nothing new has been added, they can mark the page "Rechecked on (date)--no new entries."

Thanks.

Note from Jon L. I think the first step is to hit all the unclaimeds and get them to a completed state. Still a lot of them there. Only then should we double check chunks that are already marked completed.
