If You See Rescue Aircraft and Need Rescue
- Display a white sheet on the roof of a building.
- Be ready to wave something to notify the helicopter that you need to be rescued.
- If it is at night you need to use flash lights to signal the helicopter.
- You need to stay at the highest point.
- DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ATTRACT ATTENTION BY FIRING ANY WEAPON. There have been unconfirmed reports of people shooting at helicopters which has caused rescue attempts to be CANCELLED. (Marine or emergency signalling flare pistols are likely acceptable, if you're lucky enough to have one.)
