Free Websites for Familes and Relief Workers

The free CaringBridgeRelief service is an extension of the traditional CaringBridge service, the oldest, most widely used free Internet service of its kind, helping people stay connected with loved ones during challenging times. It takes about 5 minutes to set up a personal and private CaringBridgeRelief Web site for communicating with family and friends.

CaringBridgeRelief may be used by survivors who have been displaced by Katrina or Rita, their family and friends, and workers who are part of the massive multi-state recovery effort. In many cases, displaced persons may only have telephone service. In these instances, another family member or host family may wish to create a CaringBridgeRelief Web site to keep the circle of family and friends informed, on behalf of the displaced loved one.   • "Alltel has established a phone donation hotline for emergency agencies, utility companies or relief agencies to request wireless or wireline phone services. The hotline number is 1-888-2Alltel. For the children This is for all the children at the shelters. I'm sure that some of the children get bored and really don't have much to do.
